Why the first sample matters most
Most late problems in a new product were decided early: a material that can't be certified, a part that costs more than it should, a design the factory finds hard to repeat.
Each is easy to solve on a drawing, and slow and expensive to solve at the port.
So we look at manufacturing, cost and compliance together from the start. The product that comes out is easier to make, easier to certify and easier to explain.

Paid only by you. We take no commission and no margin from any factory, ever.
When your product needs a factory, we help you find and qualify it. You decide, and you sign with the factory directly. We don't place orders or buy on your behalf.
Over tea, not threats. Most factories are good. We sit down with them face to face, explain what the product needs and why, and help them get it right.
Your design stays yours. The drawings, samples and tooling belong to you, and the contract says so.

The product, the contracts and the records are yours. What happens next is your choice.

What is product development with Asia Agent?

Can you help if my product isn't designed yet?
Yes. We can start from an idea, a sketch or a sample. The first step is a feasibility review, so you know early whether and where it can be made.
Do you help find the factory?
When your product needs a factory, we help find and qualify it, and you sign with the factory directly. Asia Agent takes no commission or margin from any factory.
Who owns the design?
You do. The drawings, samples and tooling belong to you, and the contract with the factory says so.
Do you handle certifications?
We prepare the requirements, coordinate testing with accredited labs and organise the documents. The lab and the certifying body issue the certificates, and no one can promise an approval in advance.
Which markets do you prepare for?
The United States and the European Union mainly, including CE, FCC and FDA requirements where they apply. Other markets can be scoped.
Does building in compliance cost more?
It's usually simpler and cheaper to build it in at the start than to fix it later. Collecting the records as you go costs far less than rebuilding them after the fact.
How much does it cost?
From $4,500, depending on the complexity of the product, the markets and the number of factories involved. The scope and price are agreed in writing before you pay.
Do you give legal advice?
No. We build the supplier side: the records, files and structure. Your customs broker and trade counsel advise and file.
