## Why a move goes well when it's planned

Most problems in a move have the same causes. The new factory turned out to be a trading company. The product's know-how stayed with the old supplier. The molds stayed behind at the old factory too. Payments ran ahead of progress. Nobody wrote down where the parts really came from.

Each of these is easy to avoid at the start and slow to fix later.

Importers who moved quickly in the past are now being asked to prove where their goods are made. Moving with records from the first run means the answer is already in your files.

Your product, written down well enough that a new factory can repeat it: samples, specifications, materials and process steps. And your molds and tooling recovered from the old factory, whether or not the new factory will reuse them, so nothing of yours is left behind.

Paid only by you. We take no commission and no margin from any factory, ever.

When your plan needs a new factory, we help you find and qualify it. You decide. You sign with the factory directly. We don't place orders or buy on your behalf.

Over tea, not threats. Most factories are good. They just haven't been asked for this before. We sit down with them face to face, explain what is needed and why, and help them get it right.

You keep control. The specification, the contracts and the records belong to you.

Every project is scoped and priced in writing before you pay. You know the work, the price and the timeline before we start.

## After the move

The factory is yours, and so are the records. What happens next is your choice.

What is a production move?

A project where Asia Agent helps an importer add a country or move a product to a new factory. We qualify the factory, set the contracts and the payment plan, and run the first production under control, with origin records built in from the first sample.

Can you help us add a factory in Vietnam or India?

Yes. When a client's plan needs a new factory, we help find and qualify it, and the client signs with the factory directly. Asia Agent takes no commission or margin from any factory.

Who signs the contract with the factory?

You do. We help draft it with local counsel, but the contract is between you and the factory.

What happens to the molds and tooling at the old factory?

We help you get them back, whether or not the new factory will reuse them, so nothing of yours is left where it could be copied or used for someone else. We do it calmly and in line with your contract, and we only take what is yours. We check ownership first.

How do you know a new factory is real?

We sit down with it, face to face, and confirm the basics: the business license, who owns it, what it can make, and whether it can export. We also check that the bank details match the company.

Why does a move need origin records?

US customs decides a product's origin by where it was substantially transformed, not where it was last packed or shipped from. Records from the first run show where the transformation actually happened.

Will quality drop when we move?

It doesn't have to. The product is written down in detail first, samples are checked against it, and the first runs are followed step by step.

How long does a move take?

It depends on the product, the factories and the countries. The timeline is agreed in writing at the start.

How much does it cost?

From $7,000, depending on the product, the number of factories qualified and the countries involved. The scope and price are agreed in writing before you pay.

Do you give legal advice?

No. We build the supplier side: the records, files and structure. Your customs broker and trade counsel advise and file.
